A return to Slope Point

Windy, Slope Point, Southland, South Island, New Zealand

Slope Point is the souther most point of the south island of New Zealand. You can’t go any further south without crossing over water to Stewart Island.

It is remote, windy, not too many people there at the same time, and full of sheep! It is a great drive as you go via Curio Bay and other beautiful places in the Catlins.
