Documenting my travels around the world
Welcome! I am Paul and this is my site. An ex-corporate cube dweller who has finally thrown off the bowlines and decided to let the trade winds into my sails.
Half Irish, half Greek, born in London, raised in London, Greece and the south of France I have managed to live and work in most of Western Europe, parts of South East Asia and in North America. I have also been on many business trips to South America, the Middle East and South Africa.
One could say I have travelled a lot but that was only for work. My passions have helped me extend my horizons and allowed me to travel to some incredible places such as Cocos Island in Costa Rica, the Spice Islands and all over Indonesia, Thailand, the Sudan and the Great Barrier Reef in Australia amongst others.
When I told my family and friends I was taking a break from work to go travel the world, most of them were not surprised and all were very supportive. However one big question always came up: how can we follow you especially if we are not into the big social media sites.
This is my answer and hopefully it will allow them, and you if you chose to follow me, to feel a part of what I will be living and experiencing.
So anyway here goes. Throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover…
