The Koalas of Lone Pine Park
Aren’t they the cutest?
I‘m not really a zoo person, in fact I seriously dislike most of them as I really wanted to see koalas while in Brisbane I did not have much choice. And so I ended up going to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary which is just outside Brisbane to get to see these cuties!
You can get there by public transport, but there is a river boat that will take you there from central Brisbane which is worth doing as you get to see great views of the city and the surrounding suburbs.
This place is rated as being one of the top ten zoos in someone’s list and I have to say that animals seem healthy and “happy” I guess, and at the end of the day I was happy to have been there!
