I heard many things before going to Luang Prabang, but the most common description was one of peace and serenity and it more than lived up to its reputation! I was lucky to arrive towards the end of the afternoon as the sun began to set. The soft lighting set the scene for my little foray into Laos. The sights, the sounds, the people, the scents, the atmosphere have all left a deep imprint; I can’t wait to go back and experience more of this wonderful country!
