So what’s this tramping all about?

Tramping, trekking in local speak

Not being very big on long nature walks, my amateur attempt at tramping did not take me very far into nature. I only ventured on short walks, but even then, just going 30mn away from the roads, you reach areas and scenery that you can just guess at as you stand at the view points and road sides peering into New Zealand’s beautiful nature. I can just imagine what the day long or multi day walks allow you to experience!
