A drive to the Republic of Whangamomona
Somewhere along State Highway 43 on the North Island of New Zealand, in 1989 the catchment areas were re-drawn. The village of Whangamomona did not agree with this and hence declared its independence.
The president is elected once a year and in 2003 Tai, a poodle, was elected. Tai retired after an assassination attempt left him a nervous wreck….
